Ma – In My Silence
Ma,
in my silence,
I hear my thoughts and feel my heart.
I talk to God and wait for His reply.
So far, nothing new…
my heart’s silence grows.
Ma,
in my dreams,
I hope to see your radiant soul,
to hear you laugh once more,
to feel you joyful in God’s abode,
telling me, Son, all is good.
Daddy Ji,
I sit meditating,
hoping you’d touch me
on my forehead,
uplifting my consciousness
to your saintly abode
and revealing your glorious self.
Daddy Ji,
I miss calling you
and sharing my heart’s worldly concerns.
You’d lift my spirit with gentle grace
and soothe my fears with Guru’s wisdom
and acceptance of God’s hukam.
My Lord,
I pray to know You—like my dad.
Always hearing Your celestial hymns.
My heart to feel Your motherly touch,
my mind steadfast in Your gyan,
for my silence—Your praises sing.
O Jas,
who will hear your cold calls?
The quiet, buzzing silence within.
The thumping void of your quiet heart—
you try, with gratitude, to contain it
and try, with hope, to fill it.
O,
I pray God hears and Dad reveals,
and Mom comforts, telling me:
Son, you never need to be afraid.
God’s blessings have always rained—
love, wisdom—Naam’s priceless treasures.
